Active Week:

• Every year we look forward to our active week  which we complete in June. 
• We get to wear our tracksuits, or shorts if the weather is nice, and have lots of fun playing different games, trying out new activities and getting outside for learning activities on our walkway. 
• We have different coaches in to show us some sports. 
• 6th Class cycle to Greenfields for a picnic and look forward to this end of year activity just for them.  
• All children participate in a whole school event and in 2023 we completed a day of stations for different games, obstacle course, matches, relays, welly throwing, dances and games that we all remember and love: the wheelbarrow races, sack race and egg and spoon race.  
• The teachers went on a staff walk as part of our ASW.  
• This year we also participated in the Dance Take Over Challenge on the 3rd of May for Active Week 2024. The whole school completed the Macarena and Rock the Boat, which was great fun with 120 pupils and teachers! Our Active Flag Committee did a great job teaching all the classes the moves that week.
