Scoil Naomh Fursa have participated in the DPSM Awards since 2013.
As the SFI's website states; The Discover Primary Science and Maths Programme (DPSM) is part of Science Foundation Ireland’s Education and Public Engagement Programme, which aims to increase interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) among students, teachers and members of the public. DPSM originated in 2003 with the goal of introducing primary school students to science in a practical, hands-on, enjoyable and interactive way.

Congratulations all! We have been awarded our eighth award!
"Congratulations to all in Scoil Naomh Fursa on achieving your SFI DSM Plaque Award for 2020/21. We hope you found Science week beneficial for your learning and enthusiasm for STEM. Your self driven science demonstrations were good. Your bridges for the Engineering step were most interesting. Well done once again in this challenging year. Enjoy your success and celebrate it. Scoil Naomh Fursa is a mixed school with five mainstream class teachers, two Special Education Teachers and our new special ASD class which opened in September 2024.
Full Day Care - 51 weeks per year 7:45am until 6pm.
